They're country?... rock?... hillbilly?... bluegrass? The answer is all of the above and none of the above. One thing for sure.... this ain't Grand Dad's country. Fletcher is a dynamic threesome emitting a driving power, but also a sensitivity that only a Mother can take credit for. Three siblings who share the stage and make it obvious from the first down beat that they possess and that they own, the most beloved thing in America, family ties....blood.
Kentucky born and Kentucky bred, Jon, James and Mitchell Fletcher, are from Junction City, Kentucky. Born into a music making family, they began performing when they were in the first grade at Junction City Elementary School. Jon and James are identical 6 ft.2 in. twins. Mitchell is little brother at 6 ft. Back then, when they were short, they toured with Mom and Dad. Dad played the banjo and Mom was on dobro and piano. They called themselves "The Fletcher Family". An exciting life for wee ones, but it was always great to be back home and share their lives with their friends.
But...alas, "
teenagedom" struck. The brothers began listening to the beat of a different drum...Jeff Beck, Dwight Yoakum, ZZ Top, Alabama and the Eagles. Mom and Dad stepped down. The brothers stepped out on their own, and proudly called themselves
FLETCHER. They toured the Western and Midwestern circuit and shared the stage with the likes of Billy Ray Cyrus, Chet Atkins, Exile and more. All the while, honing their style and evolving into the exciting musical menagerie that has become
FLETCHER.
As always, the stage changes, and the brothers, while staying true to their Fletcher identity, \were being blown away by all the great new talent coming out of Nashville. What better invitation than the music? They unanimously voted "I'm all in", and now make Nashville their home.
What is
FLETCHER?
FLETCHER is down home, rocking, blue collar, ass kicking country
music, raw and honest. Jon feels every beat of the drums deep inside him...James's high energy guitar style has fans yelling, "James Beck...James Beck"......and Mitchell's solid bass and strong vocal will have you deep inside the lyric that he so magically delivers.
But, there is more......the piece de resistance is their beautiful sibling harmonies, delivered \expertly and soulfully... and... these tough, country raised boys aren't afraid to sing about \Jesus. "We wanna see Jesus, but we don't wanna die", thrown into an audience will have the gnarliest of them shouting "amen".
